Christmas time is near and we are having such a funfilled adventure serving our KING! He has had so many blessed times of fellowship planned, for ua to enjoy! We expect your lives are the same!

As we look back at this last year we see the hand of our gentle Savior all over the place. But especially in His wonderful work with each one of the beloved; CC Salzburg, CCSpittal and in the Klagenfurt Bible Study. Each individual growing in the knowledge of our Lord. Thanks to the work of His love, Ephesians 4:13. Amazingly he has given us a variety of gifts which are being expressed through the Spirit! Such a blessing!

Family:

This sentence from our Lord in Mark 14: 8 "She did what she could..." has been keeping our hearts refreshed. We are given the opportunity to love Him, worship Him, cry upon Him, thank Him, pour out our best for His name's sake - unto Him. Just by doing what WE CAN for our Lord and Savior.

This Sunday we go to the island of Corfu, Greece. For a two week adventure with all 9 members of our family. We are excited! The feelings are real Petra and I do recognize the Hand of the Lord upon all the plans of each member of our family. To the point of mysterious arrangements for getting the days off. Special circumstances for where we're staying there in Corfu. Even the arrangements for the girls to be able to see Greek family of theirs down there. We are truly looking forward to the Lord working in His Glory!

We have some special prayer requests:

Our family vacation which is scheduled for 2 weeks.

For CC Salzburg's Sunday Services: There will be 3 Sundays where neither Ivan nor I will be able to be there to teach. Please pray those who have been asked to teach, Wayne Taylor, Hubert Krifter, Werner Grader, will remain available to fill in. For the fellowship to enjoy what and how the Lord is leading the growth of our fellowship there.

Thank you all so much! Our Lord has continued showing His strength through the weak. Praise to His name!

CC Salzburg

Has been being blessed throughout the Summer! The new place is being enjoyed by all. We've even had a picnic rained out that remained in the church facility to no regret - We all had a great time of fellowship, eating good food!

We are still growing! Even with these last two moves, to our surprise. We've even had people show up because of a flyer still hangning outside the Kapitelsaal's iron gates.

We really can't wait till Ivan and the rest of the family get back into the ministry here! Remain in prayer concerning all they have planned. All the Lord is able to do for them to remain here full time. Keep up with the Ibbotson family on their personal blog!

CC Spittal:

Thank you all for your prayers!
The youth camp went well. There were some youth that came out of rough back grounds but toward the end of the camp the main ring leader began to share his heart with Werner Grader. Werner would like to meet with him on a regular basis. It could be he come to the Lord! Our group of kids now want to hit the streets - like No Tomorrow!!! Doing interviews, making videos, preaching the Gospel!!!

Klagenfurt Bible Study:

Things remain in steady growth. While we're in Greece pray for Someone to lead in Worship over there. For Werner to get more study time.

Thank you for your prayers once again, marriages are doing better. The Lord is doing a deep work there.

Please pray for Marco & Elizabeth as one of their adopted kids are being tossed between grandparents, the system and themselves. Also for many who are mentally ill, emtionally weak, or plain tired of getting hurt

CC Salzburg:
There has been so much going on it's challenging to write all the wonderful details! We'll try our best. First, the Ibbotson family will be returning by faith to continue the work here in Salzburg. We're expecting them to be back in August some time! In the meantime we were given a few weeks notice to find a new place to have church! Prayer time big time! How do you find a place to have Sunday Service in a city one is not familiar with? That has meant a couple of weeks on a bike for Daniel. Although it is easier to research on the internet there were only the pricy properties found. So hit the streets he did. The rest of the church helped out with keeping there eyes and ears open.
After the three weeks had passed, on the Saturday before our last Sunday in Kapitelsaal, we received confirmation to meet in a youth hostil! Although a bit hidden we were blessed to have a place to meet!!! For those who were not there in Church, the only option was letting them know through Facebook where we would be meeting the following week.
But since we had spoken to so many different places, we were still wondering, what specific thing the Lord was working out. We just felt this place was temporary. Yesterday, Daniel and Hubert had a meeting with some people from a youth center. The place is perfect for ministry! Outreaching to the city! And enormous! One of the best things about the place is... Instead of the normal 400 euro to 3,900 euro quotes we were receiving, this place only wants 50! Can you believe that! Is our mighty amazing miraculously GOOD Lord not good or what!? We are blown away! In the city center!!!!! Thank you for fasting with us! Thank you for praying for us!

The single women's retreat at Schloss heroldeck went better than planned. Many of our sisters came back built up and encouraged!
Do to the circumstance of finding a new location we were unable to participate in the outreach to Görlitz, Germany. But perhaps next year!
The church retreat for Spittal turned into the first Austrian Conference! We had the different Calvarys' in Austria, one after another, show a desire to come and fellowship with us. What joy when our Lord moves gently to bring the saints together in one place. Heaven is unimaginable, how many will be reunited! Hallelujah!

Events to Pray for: This weekend is when we'll be hosting an outreach group,AVFL, coming from the Bible college in Vajta, Hungary, July 8 - 10.

Klagenfurt Bible Study:
Interestingly, the family we have in Klagenfurt has been growing with the desire to meet more regularyl than just twice a month. What a joy that has been. To be a part of a work where Christians from all directions of life make a small Bible study home. With the desire to know Jesus more! Watching the Lord build His church from the ground up!

Please Pray: We remain strong in the power of His might. Remain faithful to the calling He has on our lives. We are more than conquerers in Chrsit Jesus who strengthens us. For wisdom for the steps that need to be taken.

CC Spittal:
The headerpicture shows a brother of ours, Franz. We had the priviledge of helping him, his parents, and his sister in law, whom a few years ago lost her husband, Franz's brother, to a tractor accident on their farm. Attila, Shean, and Daniel went up and did some farming! Raked a couple of fields full of hey down to paths where their tractors could collect the hey and drive it up to their barn. Quite the work on the side of the Austrian Alps! What an experience.
It was such a blessing for them though Franz's sister in law has invited us back when the job need repeating. At the end of Summer. We pray the Lord help her to grow in her faith. That the others receive the Lord as their Lord and Savior.

The youth have been growing like wild fire! They are being taught about the tongue and to use it for blessings. They are also curious as to prophecy. What is without a doubt approaching us. And are we ready for it?

Events to Pray for: The youth Camp! July 24 - 29. Our upcoming Men's & Women's retreats! Oct/Nov.

Family:
Salzburg has been quite the focal point for all of us. Recently, the Lord has shown us this verse. In Isaiah 55:12 "For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands." So, what does that mean?

Summer is coming! That means the children are out of school! Petra and I are looking forward to spending more time with the children. All four of them. It's been spiratic visits from the two girls who are doing excellent in their studies. We're very proud of them! There is coming up an entire family holiday this August. What that means is... there's going to be 9 familymembers together in Greece. We'll see how that works!

Pray for us: For the rest of the summer season plans! Church involvment! Our grand family adventure!

CC Salzburg:
We have been very blessed to have Ivan back in his role as Pastor. The entire body has been encouraged by his heart, the things the Lord has spoken to us about remaining hopeful. Ivan is looking up concerning the future process of his visa extension. So are we! Sad to say next Wednesday, May 25, Ivan will be returning to his family back in Seattle. Pray for the Lord to speedy the process and all that needs bringing to the officials. So the Ibbotson family can return to their place here amongst us.
Keep us who continue in the ministry to remain on the Way set before us for this summer. We do have our eye set on the prize set before us! 1Cor.9:24 We're just desiring to remain running steadfastly to obtain it. We are pressing on, by faith, toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Phil 3:14 Pray we not hinder the leading of the Holy Spirit. Lord help our unbelief.
Praise the Lord for the so many great blessings, fruit, which He has encouraged us all with. Our Lord has truly worked amongst us here in Salzburg to the uttermost. Deepening friendships, healing those of various wounds, creating a family environment for us to find refuge in. Thank you all so much for keeping us lifted up before the throneroom of Grace. He has listened and answered many of your prayers.

Events to Pray for: Single Women's retreat, May 26 - 29. Several women are planning on travel to Schloss Heroldeck to attend. Outreach to Görlitz, Germany, June 27 - July 2. Our first Church retreat, June 10 - 13, will be joining CC Spittal. Hosting an outreach group,AVFL, coming from the Bible college in Vajta, Hungary, July 8 - 10.

Klagenfurt Bible Study:
We continue faithfully traveling down to the capitol of Carinthia to share in prayer, breaking of bread and fellowship. Many who have been in the near past wondering, having no home church, have now found themselves a place of fellowship. For about a year now the group has been growing to the point of running out of chairs. All praise to our Lord Jesus! Continue in prayer for Werner about all his responsibilities. He would very much love to be able to fellowship more down there. But he also holds a full calendar. Full time job here in the area of Spittal an der Drau. Plus he still very much has his heart with our "Tiny" youth from CC Spittal. Very fruitful!

CC Spittal:
It's been a strange season for me here in the church. Since the beginning of the year I've attended morning service three times. Once to join in in the worship. Once to teach. Once to partake of the feeding. The rest of my time has been focused on the Salzburg fellowship & the Klagenfurt Bible study.
Although, I have been enjoying working throughout the weeks with Manfred! He's a wonderful brother. We're right now working on the garden out back of the church. Pray the grass grows for us to enjoy. We have also reached the latter part of the new apartment expansion projects. We've been desiring to create more complete living space so our guests won't have to commute downstairs for various reasons. Cooking, showering, etc. So, the first of these apartments is just about done. Praise the Lord.

Family:
Life has been beautifully strange! We now have two less children living in the house. But we seem to be going through the same amount of hoops. With only two boys! Petra and I are outside of ourselves at times. We both agree we need to do much more prayer warfare. Have us all covered in prayer way way more. I don't mean to makethings sound bad. It isn't. We are blessed the two boys are growing healthy and strong in the way of the Lord. Faith unexpressible. To watch on with what our God, by His Spirit, is working into their lives. Brings tears of joy and laughter to our eyes. What a glorious mystery!
Petra's phone sometime has a non-stop ringtone, one call after another. Pray we can establish better phone ministry hours. It can at times continue onto the strange hours of the night. We both rejoice, though, our Lord has been abundantly faithful to all He's called us to. Without Him, we can do nothing! John 15:5
Pray we remain understanding, flexible, and encouraging for one another, each of us in our own place. This summer is full of fun blessings for us to be involved in! But let us not forget our family comes first.

CC Spittal

Gerhard heading up the street witnessing: For weeks now Gerhard has been busy on his off time making these beautiful crosses. 1,200 to be around the ball park! Inspired by the Lord he says, he put to use some extra wood that's normal firewood. Then passed the idea along to Lissi, his wife, to beautify them. Put stuff on them, flowers, ribbons, etc. Then the idea came to place a card on them with a verse about Jesus and Easter. Petra had been receiving John 11:25 for a while now. There we had it. How beautiful the Lord involves the body to join in on glorifying His name

So as the time has been drawing closer the women's group and castle folk have been meeting and creating what you see above in the photos. Today was the first day we went out. Manfred, Gerhard, Angelika, Petra, Tobias & Daniel. Three young girls, Katrin Egger, Iris Wanzenried, and a friend of hers. We had such an encouraging time. We had so many conversations. Unexpected openess. You can really notice the Lord is softening hearts.

Tomorrow we go out again! Pray for the Gospel to go out empowered with love.

CC Salzburg

Ivan has returned: He taught his first Sunday morning last Sunday! Hallelujah! After service we celebrated his return with a surprise meal! Everyone is happy to have him back. Keep him in your prayers, he will be here with us until May 25th. We're hoping that by then we will have a clear cut answer as to his visa situation/status.
This Sunday morning is planned for Rene to teach a short sunrise servie up on the mountain near the church where the main white fortress is, in the middle of the city. Later Ivan will do the normal church service. For all you who can make it! Check the website for info. Blessed times! He is risen!!!!

Klagenfurt Bible study

Celebrating Easter: How interesting it is for a new work getting off the ground! Around a month ago we had no seats left for all who showed up. Last thursday we ended up with half a room full. Still a blessing don't get me wrong. It's just so strange. Or maybe just completly normal. But since we were celebrating our Lord and all He did for us, we ended up with plenty of Osterjausen! That means Easter food! Good Carinthian farmer style foods or snacks if you want to call it that. Delicious! It was a blessed time of worship. Instead of Daniel playing alone Werner brought his little keyboard. Good time in God's word! And, well, I already mentioned the snacks afterward.

Keep us in prayer as summer plans get closer and closer!

Family

Focusing on family time: Or at least trying too. So much pulls Petra and I here and there. It's incredible. We some times get to a point where we don't respond to anything outside, once at home. Phone rings, clicking the computer on, etc. Shopping, although we have a market just across the street and you can even see it out our window, sometimes feels like a great ordeal. Praise the Lord for encouraging kids. The boys are faithful to make us laugh. They both do the strangest, kid stuff, things ever! The other day they built an empire out of our pillows from the sofa.

The girls come home for a visit here and there when they get a chance from their studies. It's always good to see them. We do miss them, even though we may not say it enough when they're at home. What is that? Pray we, or better said, I become more verbal with the both of them. I sometimes get caught up in outer responsibilities and act as though they're always at home and I can talk to them any time. Praise the Lord they are both doing well.

We have a family EASTER meal planned for tomorrow at our home. So that means lots of funny conversations. Being it's also Lisa's birthday we're going to have some delicious Greek food. With Baklava!!!!! Mmmm Mmmm Mmmmm. May our Lord be glorified amonst us. Oma Lilo, Peter, Isabella, Christina, Lisa, Florian, Tobias, Petra and Daniel. That be all of us. It could be possible Isabella's boyfriend comes also. His name is Harri. Pray for a blessed time.

The group from the Siegen Bible College came with open hearts ready to serve. From the very beginning the plugged into a night of worship and prayer. The following morning, we were lead in worship. Patrick taught at church and Susanne translated for him. It was an encouraging message. A couple of them came ready for children ministry, and as we all know that is a gifting! The others in the group helped with preparation and breaking down after service.

The fellowship at Salzburg felt ministered to in many ways. Many were reached out to so personally. Thank you for opening up your hearts. The street witnessing was surprisingly positive! We stood in different places throughout the city. We found out we were allowed to do this for up to 30 minutes. The Lord brought many to have honest conversations. But what was made clear is people, now, are more opened than what we think. Keep praying for the lost here in Salzburg.

Pastor Ivan is returning on April 13.
He'll be here until the end of May.

Please continue praying for Him and his family. Michelle and the kids will be remaining back in Washington this trip around. We are all praying that during his trip the Lord will bring him to some divine appointments where he can walk into prepared miracles for him to remain full time, continue the work he started. The fellowship, by our Lord's Grace, has been protected. We are moving forward in faith, reaching out to the lost and strengthening those who call CC Salzburg home. Thank you so much for remaining a part of this ministry.

CC Spittal

What a wonderful thing to watch snow finally melt away. Although yesterday snow still fell on the tops of the Alps we are blessed to feel the warm breeze lasting longer and longer every day.
It means more people will be outside for us to mingle with [ - = Share the Gospel to! This year for Easter the Lord has inspired Gerhard to create 1,200 crosses to hand out in the city! Several of us have been busy in Lissi's kitchen putting together ribbons and little cards with the Scripture verse, John 11:25 "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life..." With all that's going on through out the world we strongly sense the time is drawing nigh. Look up for HE, Jesus, comes like a thief in the night! It's time to seriously be redeeming the time and reaching out to the lost. It's been GOOD!

Klagenfurt Bible Study

Last Thursday we had to get a chair from one of the other rooms! Can you believe that! Praise Jesus!
It has been remarkable to see the lovely sheep bringing their friends to be washed, cleansed, and lifted up! We even had a lady receive the Lord as her Savior! Hallelujah!

We are all grateful for your prayer support. Werner and Daniel go through thoughts like is the Lord really in this ministry. Especially when there are only three people showing up 5 or 6 weeks ago. And two of them were from Spittal. The Lord encourages richly!!! The Bible study is growing in depth and the knowledge of our Lord's Grace. As time continues we see and know the Lord is involved. Pray for Werner and Daniel as they try to balance the other responsibilities they have. Werner specifically in His time of preparation. He has a full time job, and is also involved in leading the youth group. Which by the way is planning on going through out the local areas interviewing everyone about beliefs, opinions, hopes, and SALVATION! Keep them in your prayers! Exciting times over here!

Our family has been going through Adventures!

Children are the best! They never sees cease to amaze us. Take a look at that broccoli tree! It really does the adventures we've all been going through.

From our youngest commuting to the nearest Christian kindergarten one hour everyday. To our two girls who are maturing in life through University life. Florian is also there getting use to growing into the age of thirteen! Fun! Petra and I are being showered by Grace, praise the Lord. Patience, when we think we're running out the Lord seems to change things by His Love in His perfect timing. I like that a lot. Petra commutes to two part time jobs throughout the week. Between the both of us we try dropping Tobias off and pick him up. We give much thanks to the Lord for the Lindseys who split the driving since their two girls also attend the same kindergarten in Villach. god is GOOD! All the Time!
Please keep the both of us in your prayers. That the Lord keep bringing us to rest and be filled in His presence. We love what He has called us too, that's for sure. We both wouldn't want to be doing anything else in life. Thank you Lord Jesus!

Prayer Requests

Please continue praying for Ivan, Michelle & their children. That during the time Ivan is back in Salzburg he be able to receive specific direction for a permanent visa. That His family who remain back in the States have the peace of the Lord. For the fellowship to remain protected by the mighty hand from on high. Growing in Grace.

For the church in Spittal this Easter season to have the excitement, the boldness to go out on the streets. Sharing the good news! Giving out the crosses Gerhard made!

For the Klagenfurt bible to continue growing in the depth and knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord. For Werner and Daniel to remain steadfast.

That Petra & Daniel grow in the instructing and discipleship of our two boys. For us to still remain in a strong bond to our two daughters who are in their studies abroad. Graz and Vienna. That we remain on our knees concerning future decisions to be able to confirm what the Lord is directing.

Family Events

Having two university students as our children has meant different times. Wonderful times of watching our Lord's Grace abound. One was over for the holidays visiting. What a blessing that was. The other we helped with my inlaws to buy transport and build her furniture in Vienna. We are seeing much more of our Lord's meeting of our need than thought of before. Strange how our faith is so categorized by our understanding. Our two boys are showing us how in tune our Lord is. In every level of knowledge. In every level of child likeness. In every level of understanding and faith. HE SPEAKS into our understanding. LIFE! TRUTH! FREEDOM!

Petra and I are enjoying all the new opportunities He's bringing to us. Serving in CC Salzburg. Please pray we remain faithful in all a church needs from us. Sometimes we do feel stretched a bit.

CC Spittal

We're now in the process of construction: The Lord has blessed us with an enormous attic that now is ready for summer outreaches! This summer is already packed with plans for outreaching. So keep us in prayer about how and where we should be involved. AUTREACH ministry, Skateboarding outreach, AVFL serving!

CC Salzburg

Siegen Bible College Outreach: March 27 is when the students come over for their outreach week! It is a time of great expectation! The Lord does have plenty He wants to do here. All of us in the fellowship can agree it's going to be a blessed time building up the saints and reaching out to the lost. Keep us covered in prayer. Some of us have already been going through some attacks.

Pastor Frank Ippolito was here last weekend as our guest speaker. Beautiful time of fellowship. Looking back at the history gone by it's just amazing how much our Lord loves us His children. Prayer request: Pastor Ivan is planning on returning on either April or June for a two month period. We are still hoping and praying he is able to return full time. Please also pray for June a AVFL from Hungary Bible College outreach. It looks like it could be possible that after a short visit at CCSpittal they will come out to CC Salzburg.

Klagenfurt Bible Study

Continuing in the capitol: Petra and I are invited to a wedding from some friends we met 10 years ago in a German class Daniel attended. Pray we can express clearer about the Grace of our God and the richness of salvation in Jesus. There are also so many in the Bible study who are hurting. Elizabeth who has adopted children and is only experiencing problems from the officials. Who's brother recently died while skiing into a tree. I don't know why but Carinthians seem to experience the craziest things. Please pray we have the opportunities to share in an intimate space. Reaching into their private spaces. Our Lord is moving!

CC Stockholm

Joel Wickström: Being the Pastor of the CC Stockholm has invited me to teach some time in the summer at the fellowship there. Please pray everything works out, if it be the Lord's will. Petra and I have been attending the Scandinavian conference for the last 4 years and we have been blessed to be included in what the Lord is doing out there. Joel has become a close friend since the time Daniel met him at the Bible College in Hungary years ago. Exciting times!

Prayer Requests

For all the preparations in Salzburg concerning the Siegen Outreach. The continuation of support in regards to our Lord's plans there in Salzburg. The AVFL plans to come out to help us in Spittal and Salzburg. The steps Pastor Ivan has available to him to return on a permanent basis.

Family Events

Thank you all for your prayers! The time back in Austria has been nothing but amazing this year. Usually there are a couple of weeks where my thoughts are funny. In various directions. Of course those thoughts play with my emotions. But this year it was just your basic four days of jet-lagging. Bad enough! Besides that I returned to an intact family. Nothing horrible had happened while I was away. And that is always good news! ( - :

The girls are both doing excellent in their studies. Christina is still in Graz. Lisa is still in Vienna. Pretty impressive I might add. I don't remember Schooling being so stressful. Perhaps I am getting old. Or there is just so much more poured out upon the students no a days. Keep them in prayer, please. Florian is at the top of the class. The Lord has gifted him with a calm spirit. He is a blessed kid. To be around and to have in the family. Quite the catch you by surprise kid. Tobias is going through a phase where he wants to command everyone with everything. From where to drive him to kindergarten and where to by him chips. To Step one, step two, and then we go swimming o.k.? That o.k. at the end is what
brings laughter about. He's a cute little boy. Pray for patience for both Petra and I. One is entering his teenage years and the 5 year old directs the household. ( - : We're having plenty of fun at home!

CC Salzburg

Meeting with the Leadership: The Minutes were blessed! The four of us rejoiced with all the Lord is doing in the building of His church. We must have been there for over four hours. And we were all amazed as to how many people are participating in the ministry. It's over half of the church that serves in one capacity or another! Hallelujah! For a three year old fellowship, that is impressive! We"re praying that Ivan return to a focused church that wants to disciple others into the Lord's service. Lettiing others grow and experience the Lord in great miraculous ways!

Rene called me yesterday. He wanted to share with me the latest that had ocurred at the last prayer meeting! There was a young girl who had recently moved to Salzburg. She had only been there for a week and a half. She was raised in a church back in Texas. Katrin, Rene & Sabrina over heard her saying to whomever she speaking with that she had visted a free evangelical church but how it didn't quite suit her. So as soon as she stopped her converstaion they asked her to come over and share more about herself. The three of them shared their testimonies.

The young girl was positively surprised. So were Katrin, Rene & Sabrina. We had just prayed last Sunday morning for the Lord to move amongst us. Hallelujah! It looks as though she will come visit us this up coming Sunday! To God be all the Glory! Devine appointments ROCK!

CC Spittal

Plenty going on!: Joint Men's retreat with other free evangelicals. Young Adult group which is being done together with the Baptist church (F.E.G.) Our Women actively serving and reaching out to the lost in the Moeltall Valley. The enlargening of the children's ministry area. Creating an actual Assistant Pastor's Apt. in the church.

But it also has come with illnesses. Robin has been battling with tooth aches. Manfred has been in ill with sore throat of and on now for a month. And the cold and flew seen hasn't stoped. Perhaps it's the salt they spray on the raods to melt the snow away. Airborn! Over night changes of air temperature. Keep us in your prayers.

Klagenfurt Bible Study

Continuing Strong: We're now into the fifteenth chapter of the Gospel of John. " I AM the true Vine." 15:1 The Lord could not have been more direct as to preach Himself as the source of all life! But crazy enough we still see people seeing and hearing Him, His word, and still not believing. Incredible! So challenging to believe.

Being Spring and Summer aren't to far away the plans for outreaches are slowly landing on the table. This time of year is always filled with excitement and great expectation! For we know our Lord has great and mighty things planned. So we are rejoicing!

Great FUN!

Amongst some of the men: We were very blessed to have Manfred, our assistant, come with us. Also Florian's dad Walter. It's not to often we get a chance to have ourselves a fun time together. So the Lord really blessed our time up on the mountain. It was perfect up there. Sunny without cloud coverage and plenty of powder. If I remember correctly we had around twenty centimeters everywhere! It was great fun! We even got a chance to sit together and have ourselves a hot cup of tea. TWICE even! Once at midday up on the top of the mountain in a traditional hut The second time at the end of the day in a traditional guest house. Both places was like walking into the past! Beautiful Austrian architecture.

Please pray our guest speaker, Frank Ippolito, remain strong and healthy throughout his time here in Europe. He's scheduled to teach at CC Salzburg on the 6 of March. Then travel to Vajta, Bible College. On his way back stop and perhaps teach at CC Spittal. What a brother!  Specifically for the Bible study group in Klagenfurt we need wisdom and direction from the Lord. Specifically Werner who leads the study. I need lots of prayer in leading worship. Thank you.  At CC Spittal please pray for the contruction plans ahead. The expansion of the children's ministry rooms. the creating of a complete apartment for our assistant Pastor.   For CC Salzburg that we conintue being sensitive to the leading of our Father by His Spirit in Christ Jesus our Lord. It really is a great priviledge to be able to serve the beloved over there. Continued prayer for my preparation time. And being there for the sheep. For our leadership meetings and Mid-week study. For their pastor Ivan to be able to return some time around April 6th. Which would be the time, 3 months, for a non EU citizen is required to remain out of country. We are remaining hopefully Ivan receives a German citinship or returns with a work visa.    

Answer to prayer!  

At CC Salzburg we've been experiencing a strong moving of the Spirit! Specifically in our prayer group which meets on tuesday evenings. We are seeing the Lord move amongst us in a very clear way, Hallelujah! Our Worship has been thick with His presence and the teaching has been making sense. ( - : Thank you Jesus! We are remaining in the true VINE!

Since my return from the States the Lord has blessed me tremendously. This last week I was given the opportunity to teach at CC Salzburg, www.ccsalzburg.com, our Wednesday eveneing Bible study at CC Spittal, www.calvaryspittal.com, our thursday evening Klagenfurt Bible study, and the Monday evening Moelltal Bible study! I have never taught so much in one week ever!

I am STOKED!!!!!!! Thank you all for your prayers!!!!!!! He is building His church victoriously!!!!!!!

Calvary Chapel Salzburg

Before me is still a couple of months where I'll be commuting up to CC Salzburg to continue teaching through the Gospel of John. Continue in prayer for us there.

The fellowship has really step it up though. Katrin has continued faithfully with cafe prep., beamer adjustments, prayer, translating for me on Sundays' and women's group leader. Rene and Sabrina have blended into the fellowship beautifully. The are a great addition. Involving themselves in prayer and worship. Rosmari, has opened up her home to host a second prayer group every second friday. She is also preparing the weekly communion table.

The three ladies in charge of our children's ministry are also inredible. Ivan's sister in law, Malene, has five children of their own. That is a wonderful Christian family.

All that to say I have been blessed beyond belief. There has been nothing but thankfulness and gratitude for us stepping in with such short notice. During the time where Pastor Ivan, http://ibbotsons.blogspot.com/, is back in the states. He is expected to return and continue the work here in Salzburg sometime in March. Let's keep his family in your prayers. They've been going through many changes.

It's been a great unexpected time back home! I am filled with joy unexpressible. At times it's just tears that run down my face. That He intrusts us with His people. WOW! That's an encouragement to conitnue on loving on them, Christ's style. Our Lord is the best gift giver ever! Thank you JESUS! Love you all. Let's continue being bold! Ephesians 1: 15 - 22

I am out of words really. I've returned from a full very blessed trip in the States. Refreshing, encouraging, filled with sharing. As I continue reflecting on what the Lord's work in my and my wife's life I see He is truly a Master craftsman, Master CREATOR.

I've returned to Austria with expectancy. But what I am facing is a definite stretching. I've returned from the States to encounter full schedule of Bible teaching! Mind you I have been asking for prayer about more opportunity to teach God's Word. So this what I faced when I landed...

I landed and helped Rene & Sabrina pack up their belongings into a van. Drove up to teach at CC Salzburg for the first time. Then in the evening, my wife and I, helped Rene & Sabrina move into their new apartment. Which actually is the old apartment from Pastor Ivan. We enjoyed an amazing time of fellowship that day with all the saints up there.

This is what my week looks like. Monday evening prayer, Wednesday teaching at CC Spittal, Thursday leading worship in German and teaching at the Klagenfurt Bible Study, Sunday morning teaching at CC Salzburg. Please, please, please, pray for me and the family.

This brings me to the point of Ephesians 1: 15 - 22

Our Lord is incredible! What privileges He allows us! What's grasped me this time is within verse 18. "the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints," How rich. How precious. How glorious.

We thank you all who support us faithfully. For we know we are uplifted and strengthened in and by your prayers, in the spirit.

Prayer Requests

Please continue in prayer for our family. We are all doing amazing, but you know how each season comes with it's challenges. Especially for we who have children. Praise the Lord ours are all doing well!

Pray for my wife and I to continue allowing the Lord to strengthen us through what He is asking of us to do. Which is for the both of us more Bible teaching. My wife in Moelltal and the church here in Spittal. For myself, Spittal, Klagenfurt, and now Salzburg.

Pray for our finances to continue being able to commute everywhere we are teaching.

We've been enjoying the widening of the cords. We've seen the Lord desiring to fill His church!

Pray for our upcoming projects to rearrange our children ministry rooms. Build out a new Pastor's Office. Finish the layout for living space.

The Klagenfurt Bible Study

We had our first Christ!mas! celebration. After four hours of spending time in the WORD eating some great home baked goodies and being blessed by the sweet fellowshop we realized it was ten at night. Four hours went by so quickly. We were all contenet to continue but the place has asked us to leave by ten p.m.

So we all gave each other hugs and blessed one another with Merry Christ!mas! We all have great expectation for what the Lord has in mind with our little group down here. Keep us all in your prayers.

Margeret, Hanne Lore, Sabine, Geri & Inge, Thomas & Andrea, Ingrid, Outi & Lee, Werner Grader, myself. Also those sweet ladies who travel down with us from CC Spittal: Angelika and Rosie. They provide all the goodies to munch on afterward.

CC Salzburg

has been the most unexpected blessings of the year for me. The entire situation of Ivan and his family not being able to receive their visa extensions. Them having to return home to the States, at least for a time. For a wonderfully encouraging meeting to have taken place where I was able to be part of supporting a work of the Calvary Chapel movement.

the more I think about the more overwhelming it seems. The Lord has helped me with joy in knowing I will be able to serve in the tending of His sheep, the feeding of His sheep, and the caring of His sheep. For a season until Ivan returns within the planned three month period.

The sweetness of breaking bread with beloved

Klagenfurt Bible study went well yesterday. Our group is feeling like family now. We're even experiencing others desiring to plan and get involved in what the Lord has for us here. So we have all chipped in to plan our first Christmas Celebration together! We were all desiring to squeezed it in from the other times with church and family. We'll be meeting on the 23rd. How Glorious!

This sunday at Calvary Chapel Salzburg I'll be leading in worship. There is a definite sense of much to learn and much to do in such a short time. Being this coming sunday will be, for me, the last opportunity to meet with Ivan before he returns to the States. We await the Lord helps our note taking.

Last sunday was such a joyous time of fellowship Rene, Sabrina, and I had there in the fellowship. Especially with the Ibbotsons over lunch. Thank you guys for welcoming us into your home. The food was delicious, thanks michelle.

Ken and Michi are getting married!

On the 18th Ken Meyer is getting married to Michi, a wonderful sister and friend of ours. Petra, myself, and the two boys will be traveling to Vienna where the wedding will be taking place.

During this trip we will be visitng two of Petra's aunts who we've beens sharing the Gospel with for years now. They are both in their 8os. So we pray they both receive the Lord to be their Lord ans Savior this time around

Trip to the States
My reservation has been made! So it really does look like I'll be seeing many of you soon. Lord willing, I should be in Southern Ca. from the Dec. 25 - Jan. 11. Please keep our family in your prayers. They will not be making this trip with me. I'm praying the Lord will give me opportunity to pray and gather counsel with some of you concerning the things the Lord is doing over here in Austria. Our Lord is doing amazing things!

Klagenfurt Bible study
Werner has been encouraged to wait through the winter before beginning a weekly meeting. Which brought us relief, especially with this "100 year winter" we've received. But we're both blessed to continue hearing from those gathering with us that they desire more time in the WORD. More time of fellowship! Sweet words to be hearing. That alone has been encouraging to us in Spittal.
CC Salzburg
A few days ago Ivan made a trip down to the castle to meet with Robin, Manfred, Rene and I. The time together was a blessed one. We all agreed the Lord has done a mighty work over there. Reflecting on the time I left St. Petersburg, Russia I know there is a bitter/sweet process that one goes through. What blessed me immensely is Ivan's heart. Keep the Ibbotsons in your prayers. Returning to the States always comes with it's blessings & challenges, especially when it's for an indefinit time. Ivan has all intentions to return in three months. to continue the work.

Lord willing, Rene & Sabrina will be living in Salzburg some time after INEM's last concert and recording of their first cd. They will be plugging into the ministry teaching the midweek studies and leading in worship on sunday mornings. During the three months Ivan is in the states I have offered to teach on sundays. We are all in need of your prayers.

Our children are doing well. Tobias has learned to swim. Florian is progressing strongly in math and english. Christina is doing wonderful in Graz. Lisa is also doing great in Vienna. The Lord is being magnified. Petra and I, well, our Lord is growing us up in the ministry with couples, prayer & more worship in the family. Sweet times with Jesus.

Klagenfurt Bible study

Has been going well. We've had some new people come that have been praying for two years for something new to be a part of. A blessing to Werner and I to say the least. There have also been some who have left for different reasons. There are always the issues of opinion concerning doctrine and theology.

But we're marching ahead keeping our eyes upon Jesus. It's a blessing to know we do not walk alone. Our Lord fills us with His Spirit.. Strengthens us by His Grace. Gives us the Love His people need. Encourages us onward in our faith. Thank you Jesus!

Second Leg of the Budapest Outreach
The finishing touches are planned for this upcoming weekend. Please keep Gerhard, Manfred & Adi. in your prayers. While the end is near the pressure grows. If the Lord sends me with them you'll have some pics of the finished work! ( - ;

Rene & Sabrina Podesser
The newlywed couple! Now back from their honeymoon! Have recently returned also from Speaker's Week held in Vajta, Hungary.

Keep them in your prayers about future plans. They are leaning toward attending University classes in Salzburg. They both have a heart for ministry but also see the importance of having a diploma. Here in Austria it is one of those things that helps tremendously with getting your foot in the door in many fields.

They would both love to plug into a church and serve in youth/youngadult groups; teaching the Word and Worship. Which is what they do presently. They are both a big blessing to the ministry in Spittal. Also keep the outreach band INEM in your prayers. Big choices for a lot of the members.

Trip to the States

This year has been interesting in many ways. But now as the year comes to it's end it appears I will be going on an un-awaited trip to California. My mom has been making reference to seeing me but I thought, well I would love to see her and the rest of my family as well. But for obvious reasons I cannot go.
Well, praise the Lord He does not work only within the obvious reasons.
It really does look like I'll be able to fly out there to spend some time with you all. I'm looking forward to it!

Family

The girls have now been attending University for a couple of weeks. Christina is in Graz, doing well. Lisa in Vienna, also doing well. They have both adjusted with very little challenges. They are both learning the ins and outs about taking care of an apartment, cooking for yourself, etc. Fun stuff!

As for the rest of us. We have also been adjusting to just having two boys in house. And how different it has been!

We have been enjoying a blessed autumn. Thank you Lord for dwelling the praises of your people. God bless you all richly as we gather together with friends and loved ones to celebrate this years THANKSGIVING!

As I sit and think of what to share I cannot get over how much has gone on. So let me begin with a great BIG thank you to you. Your encouragement is without a doubt a wonderful expression of our Lord’s LOVE towards us. Continue Shining to the world!

REACHAUT, which we are still in the middle of. (www.reachaut.org) This is an Austrian based ministry we’re working with to reach the country of Austria while discipling the saints throughout the different free evangelical churches. It’s been very blessed. This saturday evening INEM & Mek MC will be in concert and preaching the Gospel in Millstatt! Keep us all in your prayers.

During the Mission’s Conference we drove to the Klagenfurt Bible study. It was specially blessed. Matt Kottman did the teaching in German. How blessed is that! It meant a lot to many of us having him teach there. But I’m sure he’ll share more about the experience for us all. It’s amazing when we hold fast faithfully to experience the FULL circle of our Lord’s Grace. Thank you Jesus! For your faithfulness.

The pre-marital counseling with Rene & Sabrina have been going tremendously! But are now on hold due to the summer schedule we all have. We’ve agreed to continue them as soon as we’re done preaching the Gospel all over the place! Yahoo!

“Inem,” our outreach band, who Rene is a part of has been on tour for the last two weeks. Keep lifting them up in your prayers. They’ve had many miraculous experiences.

OUR FAMILY:

Enriched: We’re all over the place. Christina is visiting many of you in Southern Cal. Lisa is in Bali doing well. The both of them have it planned to return home within the next month. It will be rich to see them and hug them again. Florian has been on tour playing tennis like mad. He recently won the most challenging game of his young life. We hardly see him. Tobias has been visiting friends from Greece to Sweden. Oh, how the Lord is GOOD. Petra has been evangelizing in Greece this year. And my niece Letty came to visit for a month. Amazing times! “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” Psalm 100:4
